What speeds?

Dude, excuse me for sounding rude or whatever, but based on my own accumulated knowledge and experience with forums, you bear the typical behavior of either a clueless teen, or someone who does not understand the purpose of a forum, thinking that these forums are some kind of chat site - your post count has gone from 0-69 in like 2 days, and you're opening silly new threads all the time / trolling just about all the other threads with silly 'type-before-you-think' opinionated responses rather than useful/helpful facts. Essentially you're clogging up the forums with crap. I'm not trying to be harsh, and I have zero authority here/I'm not aware of any rules that disallow such activity; but seeing your damn nick on every second post is getting annoying. If you want to advertise your cool web hosting business (which hosts stuff on international servers anyway - kinda defeats the purpose of what this forum is here for?), then I suggest you speak to a site moderator and find out what the advertising costs are, as it seems your aim here is to get your business publicity.

EDIT: But while on the topic, I think mybroadband should have an irc channel. Perhaps even a small IRC network?

What download manager do you use teraside?

I find that not all downloads come down at full speed, actually they max out at 50KB/s. I'm using FlashGot for Firefox.

Also, my iTunes downloads come down at worse than 384k line speeds.

proving again my point that Telkom limits international single threads to 512kbps on the 4Mbps line.

I'm getting 410K/s from an international host (UK) downloading a file using wget win32 (single thread) over http... ?
