What times does Cell C port numbers?

Hi,

I overheard a consultant at Cell C say that there are specific times when numbers are ported from other networks to the Cell C network.

One of the times is: 19:00

Do you know of any other times as well? (perhaps during the day?)

Hi williamveeden, thats true. But it's not Cell C specific, it is across all networks, that submit to a centralized data base which starts updating from 19:00. *DM*

When I ported to them it took place at about 7

I ported last week... went to sleep at 9pm on Vodacom, woke up the next morning and I was on Cell C...... voicemail has taken almost 2 weeks to settle down. I had to set it up with a personal message 3 times as it would just randomly reset and then tell me "you're new here....."

All hundreds now.... I quite like having my voicemails emailed to me in mp3 format

A central database I wonder if www.porting.co.za/PublicWebsite has anything to do with it.

Just a pity when you do a search for Virgin Mobile numbers they belong to CELL C
