6 cell
Yes
Black

What i recived is windows 7 home basic (32b)
and has shared graphics.

I have spoken to about 6 people at 8ta now aswell as the store i got it from and i cant seem to get anywhere.

Take the laptop in to the store along with the email and give them a choice, right laptop or cancel the contract.

have spoken to the store and i have to wait for a reply from head office, they cant tell me when that will be. in the mean time i have a laptop i cant open and i have had to pay in for.

Last week i was told by the store that if i want a laptop with the specs i was sent i must take the R500 rand deal, how does that work. There is a nice guy at telkom looking into this matter for me now so i hope it gets sorted out soon.

It all seems a bit dodgy. In Capetown my local Telkom Direct store didn't even know about the deals. Looks like I will physically have to drive to Canel Walk just to get details of the offer.

did you have to pay in R950.00 for this? Seems they changed their tune somewhere along the line

yup i had to pay it in, i did complain because nothing was on there site at that stage and the first time i was told was when i went to collect the laptop that was far bellow the specs the told me it was.

Take it back and request to deal with store manager, not like Telkom Direct staff knowing the specs, it is supplied by contract, the supplier could be supplying incorrectly. You must receive that on advert or something better if they out of stock. I've seen that at Pavilion in Dbn, a lower spec was out of stock, they started giving out at same low price what they were supplying in there mid range price.
