Dijkland... I'm getting myself wooden shoes and a bicycle first thing.

Technically I'm not allowed into the country yet but that doesn't stop my wife from selling everything, so I just go with it: here I am, destroying hard drives.

Will do. Reckon the biggest issue once I'm there will be getting a BSN while under 20 day quarantine.

And then it's the banks. ABN AMRO looks like it will suit all my needs long term and apparently you can open a bank account without a BSN. Not the biggest issue, biggest issue is what do you do with your cash you do not want to invest since savings accounts give you 0%.

And then what do you do with your phone: do you activate roaming or just not use it until you can get a new sim.

But we'll figure it out :X3:

A bit hesitant to suggest after a formite's response on another thread, but cut apart with a baby grinder.

Just drop it onto a hard floor from about desk height.

I mean, that's always enough to completely shatter platters on any HDD that you do NOT want to damage....

Except I can almost guarantee, that when you want it to work it won't.

I removed the platters from my old drives and drilles a hole in it and hung them around my garden as well as at the area where the dogs food bowls are.

Keeps the flying rats (doves) away from the dog food and other birds from the fruit trees.

Platters also make good coasters.
