Ok now what do we do with these modems? Nobody is going to buy them

How about a few ideas

1)Find an artist willing create a piece of 'art' from a product which now does not make sence at all, made of hundreds of useless modems.

2)has anybody managed to hack the modem, to work as standard 3g modem.

i say we all meet at the sentech offices and throw them at the front door, then go and have a beer afterwards

Yep, I've got my modem and antenae here. I think it would be really cruel to sell it to some unsuspecting fool. Not for the few hundred bucks that he would pay me, but for the few thousand rand he would end up paying to Sentech + months of frustration...

This will be my second time at the sentech offices! We all give R5, the first one to break a window with a modem gets the pool! I am dead serious. I will throw this peace of crap through their window.

Give a date and I'm there.

ShadowSA - were you at the meeting back in 2004/2005? I can't remember when but it was about 2 years ago.

I guess their words were worthless after all, eh?

no - breaking a window is too easy... the first person to hit the CEO with their modem wins

"I can't watch Brokeback Mountain for the same reason I can't watch horror movies.
I would scream "HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!" in the middle of the theater."

LOL!

Donovan - I was at that meeting. The sad part of it is that I stayed a client till now. Well that's about to change. Going to apply for DSL today.

Where can we really tell the world what we think about sentech??

Shadow - I agree. The thing is we were all still quite naive and thought that them meeting with us actually made a difference at all. They're not here to provide a good service.

The most proudly south african company would be one that is solely started for the purposes of setting up debit orders that take around R 500/month. That's it. They do nothing in return.

I think it's going to be fun watching them crash and burn now.

i think we should maybe get the owner of this site behind us, and organise a protest... we can take cooler bags and skottle braai's and "protest" till either the CEO address us, or we pass out drunk..

Alchemist - Funny you should say that, that IS how and why this forum started. Those guys are not interrested in Sentech anymore.
