What to expect from Bitcoin this year

The price of Bitcoin will remain volatile in 2021, but it will be a great year overall for the digital currency if the current trend holds out.

This is according to Venox founder and cryptocurrency expert Simon Dingle, who told MyBroadband he expects a similar trend to the one seen in 2017 with regards to the hype and speculative valuation around Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The experts
These are the same people who over shorted on GME and thought no-one would notice.

Bitcoin has just become another commodity for the market to manipulate.

It will go up and down when the big players stand to make money from it.

Yes I am salty because I never bought in, but it's still true.

You're making the news with conjecture as usual, why not report the news as in actual transpired events..

Speculation is indeed news. It's a professionals opinion.
There is no professional opinion here. Also when you report on opinions you try to get a balanced consensus but in the case of Bitcoin there's no such thing and it varies as wide as $1-$100,000,000 with no rationale behind it.

I disagree with you, news is the reporting of an event that has actually occurred, not conjecture (even by educated persons) about non-events.
Conjecture or opinion may at times be informative and dispersed through news channels but this doesn't make such opinion become fact.
News is always fact.

I don't care about the semantics personally, but I reckon the sooner you accept the above, the better for your sanity.
That's a battle you will lose IMO.

I do accept the above Hobbit, it is in my face day to day, and I thank the lord that I am smart enough to detect marketing and propaganda when I hear / see it.. The sad part is that millions of people are not smart enough and absorb it verbatim.
