Hi

Vodacom3g, maybe you can answer me. I have a 2GIG data contract up for renewal in September. I know it's a long time from now :D , but I'm a gadget techie and am already thinking out the upgrade options...

I see plenty of voice contract upgrade options in the Vodacom glossies, but nothing on data contracts. Since my contract at R450 pm is a fairly high value contract, and I am happy with my data card - what are the other options available. <joke mode> Quadbike? Digital camera? Honeymoon suite with dancing girls? </joke mode> Any idea what my options could be?

Thanks......

My experience so far is nobody knows...Data doesn't seem to be punted through the standard channels atm.....

Nokia N95 would be nice :D

Just spoken to one of the Vodashop chains (the various shops are privately owned) and they can pretty much offer whatever you want as an 'upgrade'; phone, datacard, dancing girls, etc. There's obviously a specific monetary value and if you exceed that you'll have to pay in.

I'll see if I can get an e-mail for you to make direct contact with them.

Thanks V3g

I'll send you a high definition video of the dancing girls......:D

/drooling (over the phone) not the dancing girls .....

1) Wo is your service provider ?

I know @atlantic does it ([email protected]) I dont like there out of bundle prices. They seem to be riding the same horse as Vodacom.
Ripping us off. Try (gogga.co.za) they have MUCH lower out of bundle rates but the basic rate is the same as @lantic etc. You are doing the right thing. Check these buggers out they are ripping us off. Let us all know what you find.

Ok, you can mail them on [email protected]. These guys have helped forumites quite a few times with 'non-standard' requests and they do have shops around the country. They also have some shops that do nothing but 3G so you should find knowledgeable staff there.

If you mail them, mention you picked it up on the forum!
