What will Cope realistically achieve this election?

Actually I'd laugh my tits off if it went like this:
ANC 33%
DA 33%
COPE 33%
The rest 1%

What would happen then though?

Actually I'm feeling adventurous today. I'll bet £5 that that's they way it's going to go.... Any takers? :D

Edit: Small Print :-)

In all seriousness though wtf would happen then? Power Sharing? A re-vote?

A celebrity death match between Helen and Zuma at Ellis Park?
What? :D

Oooh a fellow Kemptonian..... Hows things that side?

:D

Going good - even though the weather is getting cold its still a lot better than where you are! :D

Back on topic though - Can anyone imagine Julius' face if the ANC doesn't win?

Have a beer on South African democracy. If by the some divine intervention Jesus arrives today and the DA wins the election, I will calmly walk to my car, drive to the nearest liquer store and will maybe be back on Monday for work :D

See all over this forum people are saying this one will win or that one will win but at no time (I may stand corrected) has anyone predicted a tie for all 3 parties. I have no reasoning to think it might go that way but I'm going to stick to it now :D

I could give it a shot though:
ANC loses votes to COPE also to the DA cos people are pithed off.
The DA and COPE benefit, although COPE is still a little behind in the stakes.

The you have all the youngsters who traditionally would have voted for ANC (Because of their parents etc) have never lived under apartheid and have now gone through the school system and can make informed decisions about the party they want to vote for, but in keeping with the way SA votes they keep to the racial vote so will vote for COPE.

And the end result is a 3 way tie. Luvvly Juvvly everyone can have a jol in the streets :D

PS: I'm not insinuating that if you didn't go to school you can't make informed decisions.

That is an interesting scenario, but an incredibly unlikely one, and it will just end up in a power sharing alliance pretty much.
