Need to shop around when it comes to games. Before buying something, rather check the prices of Zaps, Game Exchange, Kalahari before even going to CNA or Incredible connection. AFAIK, CNA & IC like to sell old games at released prices.

Don't look at what you originally paid for it which is over-priced retail offering. The average price for a new game from overseas e-tailers is R400 excluding shipping ... not the R600+ we pay in-store in SA.

thats probably why, the ps3 one was R679 and she got it from a cd shop in cresta last week, can't really blame her, she doesn't know about the prices etc

to be honest i'm a newby as well and would have probably bought the same at the same price had i not done my research.

i checked out cna as well last week (cresta) they didn't have a single game (ps3) under R450 so i doubt they would sell any ps3 titles for less
