These MTN deals must be the worst value for money ever! Agree with the Telkom Mobile deal of 2 GB + 1 GB deal for R149 being the best value and cheapest deal on mobile data currently. NO other mobile network comes close to beating that deal.

R149 x 12 months = R1788.
If you can afford R1800 up front the Telkom 60GB + 60GB is better. It also expires after only 12 months.

That sucks. Who wants data to expire so quickly? I'm on Cell C and it's R15 for 100MB, valid for a month.
I know it sucks, but not for OP. OP wanted 500MB for few days only.
This is the first time I have seen GPRS on a iPhone to be honest. You must really be in the middle of no where like in a desert or something......
