Its been almost a year since I turned out a sourdough loaf, was making them way before any covid craze. Took out the dormant starter (5+ years old) last weekend and by day 2 it was passing the float test.
This is the approach I followed - first time my dough etc looked exactly like the vid.
Missed the smell of fresh bread on the weekend
Well that sucks , especially when you expect something when hungry.Freshly baked... Jealous!
I drove to the 24h McD's on the way home from night shift, but all of the ones I went past were closed. Now there's a hole in my soul that I will have to fill at lunch time.
