I know this kind of proper slaptjips, You cannot get these in a clean place and clean fryers won't produce this delicacy. You eat these with anxiety of getting sick.I've finally found proper slaptjips.

Hahahaha there is a place near Centurion Gautrain station that I go to under the cover of darkness to buy. I make sure I finish before I get home because wife would never allow it.

On the way to RBM in Richards Bay, going through the township, there was a little shop that sold the best slap chips I've ever had. Back then, R5 would get you almost a kg of chips from them.
