The custard for tomorrow’s crème brûlée chilling in the bar fridge. Prepped it while waiting for the wood to burn down to coals for tonight’s braai.

Real easy and tastes great when finished with the scorched sugar.

I am more worried that you paid R109.99/kg for k@k like that. You can buy at Woolworths of all places Beef & Pork wors for R99.99/kg and its actually pretty good. At R110/kg you can get real Boerewors at many places.

Local butcheries often suck. The prices at mine are often 10-40% higher, and while the quality in general is good they do love adding some bones and bits into your wors to surprise you with.
