Spur had a mexican menu for a while.. was the only items on their menu that i actually enjoyed.. not sure why they discontinued it. They had great quesadillas and enchiladas.

nope.. just an observation that most of the Spur branches that I have been to in the last few years no longer seem to have the mexican portion of the menu.

Spur quesadillas and nachos are awful. I used to do that but now I'd rather make at home. Looks good fiestast.

Also prefer home made. But sometimes I have the Spur quesadillas. Their salsa isn't too bad. Masks the blandness of the quesadillas themselves.

For anyone in cape town...Santa Annas make really good nachos: http://www.santaannas.co.za/products/. Afaik they're based in Gordons Bay but supply to a few shops in CPT. Thicker and tastier.
