Does anyone have any tips/recipes for a pork stew? My brother got some pork potjie meat from a butcher and we've never made a stew with pork before. Found this Hungarian Pork Stew recipe that looks pretty easy and tasty:

Thanks! Think I'll try the Hungarian version and see how it goes. I've got everything I need except for the egg noodles, but it should be okay with rice or mash.Yeah a good paprikash with sour cream and egg noodles is just about what I'd go for as well with a pork stew. Otherwise maybe an Irish stew with stout beer and dumplings?

I've just learned how to make bread and pizza. Learning how to make pasta is on my list but I'm not quite ready yet.Don't shortchange yourself.

A pasta maker is on my list. New season of Masterchef Australia starts on Monday so lots of new ideas and recipes to try.Oh, but you don't need to make it from scratch. It's not that hard to do but you really need a pasta maker.

Turns out trying this recipe was the best decision I've made in a long time. Pork cooked until it's so soft it falls off the bone, with tomatoes and paprika, served with fresh sour cream: If I could eat this every day this winter I'd die fat and happy.
Damn son. That is a good price.I got lazy last night and just ordered prawn curry from the local indian joint....
For R80 its bloody good value for money.
