R200 per person on a weekend or R180 per person on a weeknight...

Sushi was pretty damned good and they made tons of it

Does anyone have any tips/recipes for a pork stew? My brother got some pork potjie meat from a butcher and we've never made a stew with pork before. Found this Hungarian Pork Stew recipe that looks pretty easy and tasty:

Yeah a good paprikash with sour cream and egg noodles is just about what I'd go for as well with a pork stew. Otherwise maybe an Irish stew with stout beer and dumplings?

Thanks! Think I'll try the Hungarian version and see how it goes. I've got everything I need except for the egg noodles, but it should be okay with rice or mash.

I've just learned how to make bread and pizza. Learning how to make pasta is on my list but I'm not quite ready yet.

Oh, but you don't need to make it from scratch. It's not that hard to do but you really need a pasta maker.

A pasta maker is on my list. New season of Masterchef Australia starts on Monday so lots of new ideas and recipes to try.

Turns out trying this recipe was the best decision I've made in a long time. Pork cooked until it's so soft it falls off the bone, with tomatoes and paprika, served with fresh sour cream: If I could eat this every day this winter I'd die fat and happy.

pics or it didn't happen

Had some delicious steak yesterday

Tacos last night - slow cooked seasoned flank with black beans and the onions I slow cooked the beef over.

Pot roast tonight.

I got lazy last night and just ordered prawn curry from the local indian joint....

For R80 its bloody good value for money.
