I use a blowtorch from the hardware store, works perfectly for most things. Or a cast iron pan.

Crap oxtail, it's tough, oily, no gravy/sauce & has fsckall flavour. I would hide my head in shame if I had to feed my guests this. But I'll just go hmm lovely. Gonna hit kfc on my way home
