Your food looks amazing but your images don't do it justice. They always look washed out and flat. :o

Your last one looks better though.

Yeah I know. Ok I'm gonna go out and see if I can get some better LED lighting for the kitchen and dining room.

Cooking is kind of my hobby. I also get frustrated with the quality of pics im taking.

My wife's a food photographer. She photographs everything in natural light and even then I often have to hold the light reflector for her.

So yeah, take your food to the window when you take a pic :)

Edit: obviously this won't work at night :p

Nice piece of sirloin done on the Weber, potato wedges and a bunch of different salads.

Yeah they were surprisingly good after a recent spate of terrible ones.

"Ripe and ready to eat" my ass.

Nah. Your plates are just too small.

Those baby potatoes are too. :)

Our counter tops look bizarrely similar...

I made spiced pear apple and chocolate ganache turnovers with homemade puff pastry. No pics sorry.

Very nice Dave123, but the sausage may be a bit much :)

Yesterday I made a beef roll in the oven (not braai this time), rubbed it with mustard salt pepper and olive oil... discovered it had spices inside as well
Made a quiche thing... egg (obviously), bacon, mushroom, feta, cheese (obviously), onions (obviously) - very lekker

And the best thing about yesterday was the Creamed Leeks I made   white wine and cream. <- I'll eat this every single day of my life I promise

o, no pics sorry :(

I going to attempt a vichyssoise in my pressure cooker now-now ... after I have finished my whiskeys.

Going to use beef tongue stock instead of chicken stock in it.
