Broccoli and onions boiled till lekker, bacon bits fried in butter till awesome
add 2 together, add cheese bits, feta bits, mayo

heyo presto salad-o

Sounds like you are missing some Nachos there mate.

Had a few friends over on the weekend for supper. Made Thai chicken green curry, jasmine rice, mutton curry and chicken drummettes. Tried out my slow cooker for the first time. Overestimated the amount of water required, so the mutton curry, while tasty, was a bit "soupy".

You know, since being here I feel like I've never made rice properly in my life.

And this from someone who has been told he makes amazing rice on many an occasion.

I feel ashamed.

Jalapeños filled with cheese and garlic bread on the side. Surprisingly mild, not even remotely spicy as compared to our local ones.

The downside? No beer. Another mocktail establishment.

It's kind of ironic to post a Banting picture that has a pot of sugar in the background. :)

Ordered lamb shanks. The aubergines were fantastic - butter smooth with not a hint of bitter
