This guy was very crabby after the fact.

I had the Garlic Chilli option which was just the perfect side of spicy. My one colleague had the curry version which was too hardcore for me and the other Pepper which I didn't try.

It is still a lot of work to eat but much more rewarding on these big boys and the chilli garlic slightly sea watery sauce is awesome to dip the local Kade bread in.

It's an utterly gluttonous and borderline disgusting experience but so so good.

Not something I would go nuts for on a regular basis but I would definitely do it again if it's available to me.

Not cheap by any means.

The inContact from FNB for R2489.38 was at least made amusing by the fact that it came from Crab Corp (Pvt) Ltd in a kind of Rupture Farms way.

Ha ha no that was the complete bill for three people.

But Crabzilla the 2KG crab is almost that much for one.

It's a bit silly though like buying a magnum champagne because it's more expensive than the sum of its parts bought separately

Pan-fried cajun hake with mixed veggies smothered in a thick cheese and peppercorn sauce.

Made a bit too much sauce and had to use it all up, so veggies was drowned in the sauce.

Bit of home made pizza. Bought myself a bakerstone pizza box for my gas braai. Really pleased with it.
