So I finally completed the 1kg crab challenge.
This guy was very crabby after the fact.
I had the Garlic Chilli option which was just the perfect side of spicy. My one colleague had the curry version which was too hardcore for me and the other Pepper which I didn't try.
It is still a lot of work to eat but much more rewarding on these big boys and the chilli garlic slightly sea watery sauce is awesome to dip the local Kade bread in.
It's an utterly gluttonous and borderline disgusting experience but so so good.
Not something I would go nuts for on a regular basis but I would definitely do it again if it's available to me.
Not cheap by any means.
The inContact from FNB for R2489.38 was at least made amusing by the fact that it came from Crab Corp (Pvt) Ltd in a kind of Rupture Farms way.

I still eat those but instead of the Kips I make small little Cheddar Crisps the size of the Kips or slightly bigger. Because bigger means more cheese, more mussels and more sauce
