Maybe because it was fukking 40degress and after it went into the fridge it was fine, also, it wasn't actually runny, just very soft
Weather shouldn't have any impact! Runny / soft - same difference.

Admit defeat already - godammit

And look .... a cake with piped cream cheese roses and a cupcake with piping in cream cheese ...made by moi too....wow!

You stick to your fire

Question - what would the cup you made have looked like if the icing was applied by spoon?
Don't EVER use a spoon to ice cupcakes. ....it's a sin....just like braaing with gas !

/edit. .....there's no ways your icing would have held up being piped....

Check out www.eatout.co.za

For authentic French (if you brave enough) Check out La Pentola in Riviera.

I would rather recommend La Madeleine for real french meal (coming from a french).

La Pentola has like 2 french dishes, the rest is fusion pretending to be french.

Sorry man your icing was too soft, she was right in the first place. If you care about that sort of thing, which y'know..is questionable. Just use more sugar, it's not exactly a fine art.
Not with cream cheese icing. The more icing sugar you add, the wetter it gets. Trust me on this one. ....I've learned the hard way.
