Leftovers... cheese steak sandwich with fried potatoes and bacon.

I eat brinjal regularly but I saw baby brinjal for first time this week at my local green grocer.

And also here.

This week I'm actually going to buy it.
 
After an exhausting weekend camping with the whole family, cooking was never going to happen tonight.

Opted for a bunch of starters for the table. Fried Camembert with cranberry sauce, Sweet BBQ chicken wings, Moroccan Beef Strips, Nachos and a Bacon & cheese garlic bread.

Dessert was Malva pudding and custard and a chocolate overload with a lava cake exploding from a Sundae glass.

Need to figure out what to do with a Chayote.

Know them as shu shu's. My mom used to cook them as we had a plant in the garden yielding lots of these things every year. Never ate the stuff so no idea how she prepared them.

It's not bad...doesn't have much taste at all. Kinda like a gourd.

Works well curried but what doesn't?
