Soft and chewy like it should be. They make for excellent burger buns.

Apart from the salt crystals, but you can brush them off.

I'm not one to judge how you prepare your bacon, it's a personal thing, but I prefer chewy to [overly] crispy.

Don't be put off by the top piece - that was the end slice and it was packed full of extra saltiness and smokiness.
