Why is it called that?

The velveting process is when you add the chicken to egg whites and cornflour for half an hour before cooking. I add a few flavourants here too, but the egg white and cornflour process is called velveting...

I bought a bottle of Red Heart rum and a bottle of Olof Bergh brandy and a six-pack of Castle Milk Stout (with three bottles still left in the fridge) for tomorrow's camping trip.

Guess what I had for supper ...

... that's right ... eggs on toast. (With Nando's lemon and herb sauce ontop!)

Home alone since Monday. Guess I will have to cook up something tonight. Man can not live on sushi alone...
