What's for supper?

How do you prepare this ?

Fry onions till 97% ready. Add some cream / cream cheese (or if you do not mind having a heart attack, add mayo. This also works if you want a sweeter taste.), fry for another minute or two while adding peri peri sauce and keep moving the onions around in the pan.

I know some like to lay the onions in milk over night and they say that it adds to the "creamyness".

This would also work for a sauce: http://myfavoritethings-miranda.blogspot.com/2013/03/creamy-three-cheese-bacon-french-fried.html

How did it come out ? My dish was lovely, with the exception that it has no kick, so I served it with chilli achaar.

I burnt it.

I fell asleep on the couch (a just sat down for a moment and leaned my head back a bit and then I was gone). I awoke when I smelled something burning. It was too late.

STUPID *******!!!

I'll try again tonight.

Blu's pumpkin and chickpea dish is a winner !!!

Maybe not as a main course but definitely as a side dish.

EDIT: Maybe it could be a main course if it is made better than the attempt I made.

Like I described ... I'm going vegetarian tonight.

But I'm almost finished ... and I can understand why some people balk at going vegetarian.

I'm still in need of something substantial even though I've had a big plate of a butternut and chick pea and curry concoction.

Vegetarian wraps with a filling of onion, baby marrows, chillies, lettuce, tomatoes, grated carrots, black beans, avocados and cheese.

I like my vegetarians thinly sliced, heavily spiced (let's face it, they're bland) and fried. How do you do yours?

veg·e·tar·i·an
/ˌvejiˈte(ə)rēən/

Noun
A person who does not eat meat, and sometimes other animal products, esp. for moral, religious, or health reasons.

Adjective
Of or relating to the exclusion of meat or other animal products from the diet: "a vegetarian restaurant".

The results of my experiments.
(see thread : the perfect roast potato).

In the event of failed experiments, dinner will probably be a bowl of cereal followed by a cigarette.

Not sure about supper but I want this for dessert.

Recipe says you use an Oreo as the base, then cover that with caramel, another Oreo, more Caramel and then you fill up the rest with cupcake mixture. Bake until ready.

I have quite the sweet tooth so sure I will enjoy one or two of those.

Might just give it a try this weekend.

On that note. How often do you all eat dessert with supper?
