I cannot remember the ratio though.It's very difficult to get a good mussel sauce with no white wine. This recipe forgoes the water totally and uses a combination of milk and cream - so that will be hella creamy.

the packet garlic butter is not the best but quite good ..has a thick flourery taste if not done right but could work in a cream sauce

Haha I agree, hence I've never attempted it. I always just leave out the wine completely, never really bothered me.The alcoholic content of a white wine mussel sauce is nil. It's refined, fermented grape juice. Mocking up something like that sounds .. well I'm quite dubious; like a soyburger or Canderel cake or something.
