Just a quick question ...

WTF can I do with a can of cannellini beans?

I bought it after I saw that my local PnP didn't have chick peas anymore and I wanted to buy something from the canned section.

What can ... "can" got it?!?!? ... I do with it?

Mix with bully beef, mixed vegies and put on bread or toast. Beans beans the magical "fruit", the more you eat the more you toot.

P.S. Compulsive buying makes you poor.

^^try some cumin in the mince next time. Makes a world of difference if you're looking for a more Mexican flavour...^^

Tonight is roasted chicken breasts with creamed swiss chard, and carrots, caramelised onion and bacon side dish...

Cool thanks, we already have cumin so will try it next time :)

A vegetable curry in the spirit of the best amateur intention possible.

onions
garlic
chopped butternut
cannellini beans (in the absence of chick peas)
cooked lentils
curry paste
maybe some curry powder as well
olive oil
either cream or coconut cream (I'll decide when I get there)

Edit: It turned out to be a dish of slop.

One cookie for the person that can place this quote: "Hey punk, I've been slaving all day making that slop."
