This is the before pic.

I'll try and remember to post an after pic.

It's going on that water-based grill contraption ... and yes, it is hot enough to cook the chicken through. I've been doing it for years. This appliance is not suited for flash-grilling a prime cut steak, but for chops and chicken it works well enough. Actually it works quite good. You can have the braai taste without waiting for Friday evening.

Didn't have lunch so I was starving when I got home.
Opted for slightly fried pepper crusted ham on fresh bread with a honey mustard mayo.

Cajun chicken breast with a creamy habanero and tomato sauce. Last minute thing that I did now. Love the simple stuff...

*sigh* on a health campaign atm...got some frightful blood pressure numbers (didn't know it could shoot so high so fckin fast).

DJ - which type of potato is best for say boiling? Really battling to make potatoes work with all the weird types out there. Plus a lot of them turn out hard & "glassy".

Forgive me for being temporarily thick, but where does the water go? Under the element? So it gets steamed, no?
