Cooked rice for the first time last night. Well it was parboiled, so not too much effort. Mixed in some spices and some sauces.. so made a 'spicy rice'.. then threw in some smoked pilchards (not the best combo).. I kept the rice separate though.. so tonight I will try to make a tomato curry mix to go with it... (also have a some stewing lamb in the freezer that I could use)

any other ideas?

lol.. i'm not mixing that together. I have kept the rice separate, so I was thinking of making a lamb stew to go with the rice for tonight. (if I have enough time to defrost the lamb)
