Few things in this thread will ever make me as jealous as this statement does...

Then it will please you to know that cold it is not as nice as when it is fresh out of their shop. I will say it is about 85% as nice reheated :D
 
I thought having people over was to entertain. Otherwise why not just eat at home.

They're from our church. We often eat together with people in church. If they come to our house we would normally make a large dish of something. It's only the comparative feast of this meal that made me comment on it.

Lemon juice, salt, plenty pepper, cumin, chilli powder - mash. Put on toast with that fried egg...

The leftover stew was enough ... but I'm keeping your idea as first option for tomorrow evening.
