The morons put cucumber in the flippen sushi. Cucumber has this tendency to overpower everything. It didn't fail tonight...

Made mussels in garlic sauce

But the sauce wasn't rich and didn't taste very garlicky like the way ocean basket does it
Any idea what else to do ?

I added lots of garlic though

fried some onion with garlic ...added parsley and cream and some lemon juice and pepper

oh pooky i got the mussels from fish for africa in woodstock ...fresh for R42 a kg

they had tuna at R90 a kg

and kingklip at R90 as well

If you only used half of one of the right, you will never get a garlic taste. Half of the left, yes!

When I use garlic I rarely use less than 3 of the cloves (right).
