I am going to attempt making Quesadilla (with cheese, onion, garlic and salsa).

Added avo, birds eye chili and the cheese was Emmental and Raclette.

Was so much better than that fake Mexican restaurant in the Tyger Valley waterfront.

What I meant was that they are CRAP. The food tastes like Spur, no Mexicanness in it at all. I've heard good things about Pancho's...never been there myself.

No, I know exactly what you meant....and I agree with you. It was a straightforward question, not the ownership per se, but is there any mexican themed restaurant that actually serves Mexican food in Jhb, rather than the fusion crap we tend to get nowadays?
