that looks good

i bought those knorr packet sauce and want to try it

do you make this fromscratch or use one of those packet sauces
No this is from scratch. It is a simple recipe.
1. Fry a chopped onion and garlic
2. Add 4-500g sliced mushrooms (firstly put the mushrooms in a bag with lots of paprika and shake to coat thoroughly.) Fry till soft and browned.
3. Meanwhile take 500g sliced beef, coat in maizena and fry separately on fairly high heat, and put aside when done.
4. Add 100ml red wine and tbsp balsamic vinegar to the mushrooms and simmer for a few minutes.
5. Mix a tbsp maizena with water into a paste and add into the sauce to thicken.
6. Add half a cup of light cream, throw in the beef and chop up fresh coriander. Serve over rice.

from where is this ?

Take away from Nuri Sushi in Town. Very popular place since about a year ago, you've probably heard of it. R274 for what you see, R220 for a G&M platter of chef's choice 36 pieces, and R56 for a Volcano, 42 pieces in total. Plenty for two, well priced, top quality.

4.5 star rating on their Facebook page which has thousands of likes says it all, definitely some of the best if not the best in my experience. Perhaps the negative reviewers were put off by it being churned out, production line style, by several characters one wouldn't expect to be quality sushi chefs. They're very well trained, and the owner is always there, who I believe is highly trained himself, and used to be involved in other top Cape Town sushi restaurants.

There's a restaurant nearby that's offering cauliflower base pizza, low carb style. Gonna go try it out!

On the spur of the moment, during break, about 8 male colleagues of mine decided we should go to the beach this afternoon and have a braai there.

At 15:00 we'll rendezvous at our principal's house and then we'll drive the 3km (as the crow flies) to the beach. It's quite remote and difficult to get to, so we'll be the only people there.

Some alcohol will also be comsumed. I keep my consumption at moderate levels. I'm minding my physique.

Home made pizza with bacon, chorizo, mushroom, green pepper, mushroom, cheddar & mozarella. I'm stuffed and still have 1/2 left.
