Strange (... not prof. Hugo Strange), I posted last night and yet nobody has posted anything since.

Tonight, I made my classic, signature stew.

I don't think anything I can make (even with the best of instruction) can taste better than my lamb and red wine and butter and potato and carrots and mushrooms and onions and pumpkin (secret ingredient) stew.

You should taste it here in Singapore. They think that thick-bread-bases with chemical-cheese-goo crusts are the norm; they put the weirdest seafood on all of them; you can hardly find any pork products on a pizza, so no ham and no bacon; some places use Heinz ketchup as the tomato base; they are tiny; they protect their limited mozzarella reserves like truffles so they often chuck on cheddar instead; oh and they're cheap-skates with the cheese; wood-fired pizzas are practically un-heard of; and they cost between $20 and $50 depending on where you go - for a single pizza...
