What's for supper?

I'm considering crumbed pork chops and veg with a sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

/munches traditional north Indian mutton curry.

Delicious still. But this is the last night of curry, I swear...

About as long as mutton, for the most part. It's just the connective tissue that needs to break down, which will take just as long as mutton. All depends on the cut of meat though...

Some local places just have a wood fed pizza oven that I am missing :( Their pizza is the same as mine but the smokey flavours makes it better when it is prepared that way.

And theirs will get to around 400C - your oven can never get that hot. That is the true key to a good pizza...

If you want to get proper convection, it isn't as simple as building bricks and a vent. The design is actually quite important. If you want to build one, best advice is to go ask your local pizzeria for the dimensions. They will even sell you pizza bases which (if they're decent) is a far side better than making your own, which can be pretty bloody tedious. Awesome for parties...
 
Last night it was cereal and whey isolate. Eskom better not **** with me tonight, that is for sure....
 
Mr Blu may have a business dinner, in which case I will have a sandwich at home. No way am I cooking for myself.
