i've been wondering whats going to be in nvidia's next gen 8800 cards? i was wondering if it had unified prossessor's or if it had allocated prossessor's? and how many it had? i did read some shyt about it being ddr4, so can an anyone clarify this details with me? oh and the pricing and power consumtion? i heard they using more power than escom can supply!!! thanks in advance

Have you done ANY reasearch on the topic yourself? Just google G80 and read...

There isn't much on G80 other than speculation.
The only solid info is that it will not be a unified shader architecture even though its a 100% DX10 card. What is true is that Gemetry and Veretx shader parts will be unified or share the same block, seperate from the fragment units but that's about it.

There is some FUD at the INq about a 32 pixel pipeline part with 16 vertex units which can be allocated to either geometry shader programs or traditional vertex shader units. But that's just what thew INQ sez, so it isn't really meaningful.

NV has never been so tight lipped about a product before. It may not even be GeForce 8800. We'll have to see end of next month/early October :)

Sorry there isn't more info.
