Hi All

I'm gonna need the help of a brainiac for this one... I'm looking at buying the Netgear DGN2200 wireless modem/router and while searching on pricecheck.co.za, 2 options came up. I have no idea what the difference is between them...

One is: Netgear DGN2200-100PES N300 Wireless ADSL & 2 Modem Router

and the other: Netgear DGN2200 Wireless-N Router With Built-In DSL Modem

The latter being more expensive... I'm weary of the "100PES" at the end of the first one... CCould someone please help before I fork out a grand for a modem/router?

Many thanks in advance

Ian

I can't see any difference - and Netgear's site doesn't seem to list any different versions of the DGN2200.

If I were you I would save some cash and get a TPLink from these guys: Uniterm Direct I've had great service from them in the past and I've only had good experiences with TPLink.

the second one has got 3G + backup, but you need to buy the 3G modem seperately.

i'm using TP-Link routers without any problem. or d-link.

Hi There,
I also could see only the 3G as the difference between them.
I have had 2 stunning years of service from the N300 including some light tickles from lightning. I also paid about a grand from PC International in Randburg.

Regards

Tim
