What's up with Digital Addiction?

I recommended Digital Addiction to my brother about a month ago for some hardware he needed to buy. He placed an order and payed via credit card three weeks ago and is still waiting for the goods. He's phoned, faxed and e-mailed. Zero response. Phone numbers don't even work. He's now reversing the charges on the credit card.

What the heck happened to Digital Addiction? I've read so many rave reviews about this company? :confused:
 
Conradl is/was the owner, and he's on these forums (he monitors them). Hopefully we'll hear from him.

I had a similar, but far less severe, issue with Digital Addiction in which I emailed them for more details on a quote and never got a response. When Conradl heard about it, he investigated and said one of his new employees slipped and missed my email. Could the same employee have slipped up and forgot to post your parts?

It's not my order. It's my brother's order. I can PM him but I don't have all the details of the order. I don't think absent-minded employees bill your credit card and then slip up by disconnecting phone and fax lines and not answering multiple e-mails. Just a hunch though. :)

Ahha, simple misunderstanding. PM Conradl and ask for his number or the number for someone your boet can phone. I'm sure he will help you out.

This is scary. Did he announce on myBB that he sold/closed his shop?

He is very busy lately, hard to get his attention.All i get when i phone is "Can you hear me?", "Huh?", its rude i think sometimes.But good service when you past that part.
 
This is a bit concerning. Very poor. Etiai used to run a tight ship from what I remember.
