What's wrong with Apple Macs?

Only a Noob woudn't know what OC is.

Henstra and Kilps are noobs.

Henstra or Nicolas don't have Macs so they should actually stop rating about them.

Woody, you havn't even seen/used the mac software, and you say it sucks.
Just go and sit in the corner for a bit and start arguing again when you've tried one!

I don't need to try the hardware (not software like that noob Henstra said)

I can just look on their website and see the CRAP!!! computers.

And I can tell you I've seen the Macs

I tell you once, I tell you twice - I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

But because of Woody's comment about how he does not need to try out Macs hardware and most importantly software, I have been dragged in (head first) to speak some more (thats properly)

So here goes three main parts:
1) You cannot comment on something you know nothing about (looking at the specs on the Apple website tells you nothing)
2) Yes Macs are expensive, but the OS rules and I shall try and prove that
3) The hardware may not look that great on paper - but there is reason in Apples Madness (don't worry - this, I know, is not one of strong points)

I shall also try and give you all a new point to grumble over each week as long as this topic lasts.

All right, here is this weeks main argument:

Mac OS X - looks great, why and why we should care

Even if you just go to the Mac OS X section of the Apple website (http://www.apple.com/za/macosx/) and take a look at the screenshots one is overcome by the incredable artistic finish of the OS.

But who cares????

Everyone should!
When you work every day on your computer you don't want it looking like the dogs breakfast (alright,XP isn't that bad...)

I am not 100% sure - but I think the 115page pro-Mac report (www.http://www.macvspc.info) mentions a study whichproved that people are more creative on Macs - I don't have time to download the document to check so I will confirm what it says some time soon - WATCH THIS SPACE

*Ok, first woody i ain't going against you but O.C is a bit gay. U go for 2 days to a warehouse were u sleep surrounded by computers. I havent been to one and probably never will go.
*2nd, one of my dads clients has 2 G5s and i have to admit they are pretty cool and fast, i like the mouse and the thin wide screens. But then u look at the price. And for a bottom of the range mac u could get a pretty damm good pc.

AND FOR KILPS, the os is pretty cool and colourfull but i dont think that i would never get used to it.

Just so you know i'm currantly at the apple store in claremont, ansd useing the g4 powerbook, and it is soooooooo fast it's unbelievable, and cool.
