The Samsung tablet (Note 10.1 2014 ed) has improved in leaps and bounds. I'm super impressed.

Why do you have the WP with a white background/high contrast mode :???:

Black on black is so depro. The white actually works well. The new 8.1 will change all that with picture backgrounds.

This I know, as the Note 10.1 was laggy and slow on 4.3 - the Kitkat update changed it into a smooth and fast tablet.

It's a new toy. I needed something fresh. Didn't get it because it is better than iOS or Android. One can only judge when one used the OS thoroughly. There is too much judging going on by people who never thoroughly used the items they judge.
