They once ran out of Lattes on my Q-suite flight on Qatar. Never again...
lol J/k
Can't believe my worst experience is worse than yours, given how you seem to live in the air :- osince i don't like turbulence despite flying so much, my worst was Montreal to Paris on an A350 in 2022. This thing was getting shoved about like we were a rubber dingy in a hurricane lol.. I was in Business Class and i still hated every moment. For like 3 hours of a 7 hour flight you had to hold on to your drinks or they went walking... With small batches of smoothness in between.
legendcset la vie I guess.
Oddly enough my boss who sat next to me was still playing on his PSP while the plane was falling. I was like what the hell man, he was like I needed to finish that part. If I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die.
Those wings can flex surprisingly well, so can the fuselage

Flying back to SA from Singapore, a massive thunderstorm right across the whole Indian Ocean. Wings of the 747-400 literally did flap, and without a break. About 10.5 hours!!

Tried it once with an umbrella :-/Jumping off the roof with string tied to black bags to create a parachute. It didn't work.
Yeah, only tried it once as well. Maybe it is successful on the second try.Tried it once with an umbrella :-/
- and I get home eventually, about 16 hours in transit for a Joburg Cape Town flight
if someone told me up front: you can choose a 16 hour transit to Cape Town or just stay in Joburg a few days more and have a normal incident free flight afterwards ... I'd probably choose the 16 hour transit, anything to get our of Joburg faster
Moral of the story - stay in Jo'burg, CT weather is much worse these days.
