Was wondering if someone out there has a solution to sharing a WhatsApp account.

We are a church that uses one person to send messages out via WhatsApp, in the past we had used SMS services (SMS Portal) but everyone has WhatsApp and it allows us to send more feature rich text messages, i.e. PDFs, videos, etc.

The problem with WhatsApp is that there seems to be no platform to have a shared WhatsApp account so that anyone in the church leadership could use it to send out messages.
The only hacked solution I can think of is buying a new sim card, putting it in an old phone and then connecting everyone via the web version of WhatsApp. This is however fraught with issues like people needing to reauthenticate with WhatsApp on the web, the phone not being connected to the internet, the phone's battery dying, etc.

So my question is, has anyone got a solution or know of a platform that utilizes WhatsApp and allows mutli user login?

Create a group, set so that only admins can post, add leadership as admins, invite the rest of the congregation.

My tool of choice for this type of requirement is Telegram Channels. The challenge is mainly getting people to use Telegram but once that hurdle is crossed it works well...

I feel a bit like a facepalm with that one, in terms of its simplicity and not having thought about that ;)

Thought about this but just trying to get 60+ year olds to switch can be tough
