My mother purchased a WhatsApp Bundle at R7,50 on her Samsung Windows device, now she has zero airtime and is unable to view images,videos,voice notes and every option is ticked under WhatsAppr settings to automatically download images;video;voice notes . Now I am questioning wheather the image;video;voice notes downloaded are zero-rated. I remember reading an article whereby certain customers were billed.

Once the WhatsApp Bundle is activated, you will have access to all in-app features such as sending and receiving instant text messages, voice messages, pictures, videos, files, images, etc. to anyone on your phonebook. Clicking on an external link (outside of WhatsApp), e.g. a news article on News24 as well as WhasApp Calling, will incur normal data charges.
