I recently worked for a company for 6 months and my contract ended in April, I am still on the annoying WhatsApp group. How do I leave the very busy group without them knowing? Is there a way?

OP. You are overcomplicating things to the nth degree.

It's really simple. Just leave that phone plugged in and on its charger. Mute the phone.

Go out and get a new phone (prepaid or contract). Avtivate the new SIM. Notify all your contacts that you are using a new number.
