I've had Whatsapp for years already, never had to pay a cent for it. I don't know anyone either who's ever had to pay anything for it.

For its part, WhatsApp says don't worry, adverts aren't coming. Claiming instead "we will test tools that allow you to use WhatsApp to communicate with businesses and organizations that you want to hear from."

Don't want. Just leave it alone damnit.

I am starting to distaste Whatsapp. I have been getting "random" friend recommendations from FB lately for people whos email adresses are not on the one connected to the FB email add. Only conclusion: Whatsapp has been scrapping my contacts and sending it to FB. So much for being "free".

Yeah i dont have a facebook account so that would suck. However they will probably not do that, as it will make alot of people ditch the app completely.

50/60 = R0.83c a month
