Ok, it says my upgrade was due 19/09/2008, but i want to cancel my contract because Vodacom gives you K@k phones on there contracts.. now can i cancel it on the 19th of this month, or December ? do you get your upgrade in the 21st or 22nd month ?

thanks

you can upgrade anytime after your upgrade time ie. the 19th of September... you might though have to go till the 24th month to end the contract...

ya i know i can upgrade.. but i want to cancel it :) so wondering when i can do that..

You'll probably be able to cancel it after the full contract period has expired.

yes you have to wait until the 24 months have expired, then give 1 months written instruction afaik

well if my upgrade is due then... when is the 24 months up ? and Voda told me that i just cancel it when it expires.

You can give one month's notice in the 23rd month as far as I am aware and use the last month as your notice period. With the contract then being cancelled after 24 months. This is what I was told by Nashua.

From their website :

As with all Vodacom’s 24-month airtime contracts, you become eligible for an upgrade in month 22....

But now I assume that is the start of the 22nd month, so this would be September 19 for you. The start of the 23rd month would be October 19th, and then the START of your last month would be 19th November. So you would then be finished your 24 months on the 18th December.

But this is just my calculations... so don't take it as gospel. Also I would rather assume the one month notice no matter what Vodacom tells you!

In other words you'll be able to upgrade on 19/11/2008. I think it takes a month to cancel though. I heard somewhere you have to give 1 month notification of cancellation.

You can cancel your contract 6 months after upgrade afaik, your upgrade is 18 months after contract starts.
