when is Digital5Media going to launch?

When is "Super"5Media going to launch?, what channels can we expect and the cost? is it even going to be called digital5media?
does anybody have any details?

It's almost there. From what I hear there will be two or three packages one can choose from...problem is for sport lovers, No EPL whatsoever, but for those who enjoy Fringe and the likes...Fox will be interesting. Lets hope they can finally end DSTV's monopoly...
 
Is this the previous ODM or a new player? I see odm.co.za goes to some random video'sh site.

its not the same, as i understand it, ODM will use satalite like DSTV, but digital5Media is going to be cable TV, i thinks its a good thing for SA, getting with the times..... :-D
 
Yeah 2nd quarter 2010 with their decoder and no sport. All they need is sport but imagine if they get cricket ,soccer , rugby DSTV is screwed. A couple of cutting edge audio channels as well.
 
Don't ODM lose their licsense or something if they don't start broadcasting?
 
They're only launching a commercial package to start with from what I know...
 
I heard that they going to piggy back on the dtt infrastructure. which means you wont need another satelite for this service when in eventually comes out
