When will iBurst reduce prices or increase caps?

R198/gig?
Who the hell leaked my new pricing!! :D

Ah...still think this is all one big joke eh?

i'd be worried if I were you - with all the ADSL prices coming out every week beating the previous ISP's "special", a lot of your users might leave if they see their ISP's ceo laughing in their faces and not delivering....

It would look mighty bad if iBurst lost 30% of their users 3 months after you came along to lead iBurst :erm:

i'm sorry if I sound rude or something, i'm just a straight shooter, and this is my honest opinion :o

Ordered my adsl line today. As soon as I get it vrotBurst is history. The last straw was their system just dissapearing this weekend. Apart from that, adsl bandwith is now much cheaper, even if you include the line rental.

I just want to find out, when the new pricing/packages are introduced will notifications be sent out? The last time prices were reduced no one was informed about it which got a lot of people mad.

Good point.
Also depending on what is announced remember the last migration date of the month is the 25th.

Yes, I heard about that.

For sure everyone will be notified, at least if we have contact details for them. We did run the 250MB data for your e-mail thingy a while ago but I think there are still a few thousand people who do not have an e-mail addy on our system.

I'd prefer to do an automatic migration but it'll need to take any T's&C's into consideration. While most people would prefer it, for sure someone will complain.

Also, last thing any of us want is 80 000 people calling the call center to migrate.

So the preferred method is automatic.

But let's first see if anything is actually going to happen. :)

BTW, reading the myBB news section after midnight is always good. ;)

well if anything is announced tonight that will give us tomorrow to migrate which mean we would be on our new packages next month:)

That is if anything new comes along tonight.

Okay, my debit order comes off today 25th, so how do I migrate to the new prices/packages?

Guys,

Don't panic that you must migrate before the 25th. We'll help to ensure that even if you migrate after the 25th, it'll still go through.

As long as you migrate me to a 2gig package with the 128k uncapped add on I'll be happy :) I wont be able to sleep now, this is more exciting than Christmas was when I was younger:rolleyes:

25th November, Christmas came a month early....:D

Thanks Santa Claus (Jannie)....;)

Jannie please explain the options to us.

I'm currently on a 1giga package. @ R239 with the Desktop Modem UTD (which has 64K uncapped "throttled" afterwards)

What are my options? , or to what will my account be auto-migrated??

Before month-end. But we might do a batch job and migrate everyone.

The problem with that is the choices. I don't like the idea of a capped service and would want to migrate down again and take one of the uncap options, or I may go up to the new 8gig package, but certainly not an automatic migration.

128Kbps sounds nice, but could we experience it before diving in?
