There's a few different theories here regarding the best way to raise kids.

One, (and this is rather new and not completely tested) is to have one or two and give them everything and really put in a lot of effort to raise them properly.

The other better tested method with a greater success record over time is to have as many kids as possible and just neglect them. If you have 12 kids, 2 turn out trans, 5 die of childhood diseases, 2 become hobos, and 3 become semi functional adults you are already more successful than the other couple who only had 1 kid.

As George Carlin says: the game is rigged and nobody seems to care or notice.
 
Woolworths has this 0 ZeroHunger 2030 initiative, I often wonder how they are to solve it.

Food security, sustainability and helping people be self reliant. Difficult topic with many varying opinions.
