I'm in Durban (Outer West). All Telkom shops around me, Hillcrest, Pinetown, Pavillion, Chatsworth are out of stock and I get a today tomorrow story. It's a pain because you can't call in the check stock, you have to go there personally. Now I'm getting desperate. Is there any other supplier, even if I had to buy on the Internet, that has a similar R 50 price tag?

I got mine from a Telkom Direct store for I think R50, I did get one with my Netgear router, but I decided to rather just get a proper Telkom one incase 'issues' were had with the 2.

contact www.warcom.co.za as they should have filters in stock. They are in Amanzimtoti. Incredable Connection also has them and Game in Toti.

Should find them at Matrix Warehouse too. They have a shop in Kloof.

Just something to take note of: Most of these filters are designed for filtering out ADSL spectrum for clear POTS (phone) use ONLY. Very few have an ADSL port (one that filters out all except ADSL frequencies). My noise margin stabilised and increased by about 2dB when I put an ADSL filter before my modem. If you're going to buy a filter, I strongly suggest you try find one that has an ADSL port on it as well...
